Experience
I recently taught both precalculus and physics at Northwest Yeshiva High School, a small private school on Mercer Island. I was hired to finish the 2013-2014 school year when the previous teacher resigned suddenly at the end of March. I student taught geometry and calculus at Nathan Hale High School during the 2014-2015 school year. I am currently teaching geometry and calculus at Bothell High School. I have been tutoring since 2010. I have tutored over 60 students -- most in math and physics -- but a handful in general chemistry. I have tutored all math levels from elementary math to calculus and differential equations. I am available to tutor students of all ages and skill levels, but most of my students are in high school or college. I offer discounts for group lessons. Each student in the group receives a 30% discount. Discounts are also available for college students paying with their own funds and for veterans and military personnel. I am willing to drive up to 45 minutes. However, drive times (each way) over 15 minutes will be charged at my regular hourly rate.
