I studied as an electrical engineer for both undergraduate and graduate degrees, which required a great deal of math experience. I always had a passion for math. I competed in math tournaments in middle school an high school (MathCounts, TMSCA, UL). I took a total of 11 AP tests in high school including AP Statistics, AP Calculus AB, and AP Physics B (5s on all of them). I've always enjoyed tutoring others, and volunteered as a tutor in college as part of the Electrical Engineering Honor Society. I really enjoy helping students understand complicated mathematics and science topics. I try to have students understand fundamentals rather than just teaching to particular tests. * 4 years of tutoring experience * 790 in SAT Math and 800 in GRE Quantitative * Previously tutored a high school student in SAT math and improved his score from 580 to 760.
